Our welcome reception on Wednesday evening, May 14th, this year was brief, as it was last year, to encourage Members and Business Partners to go out to dinner together, break bread, and really get to know each other. We figure that you work with folks that you like!
ISDA Executive Board President Jeff Valentine, Pacific Business Systems, formally opened our 2025 Annual Meeting on Thursday with encouragement, nostalgia, and a bit of humor! Afterwards, Executive Director Jim D’Emidio took to the floor to discuss his goals for the meeting and the ISDA Network, more broadly.
We then had a shot of octane from keynote speaker Jim Ryerson of Sales Octane! Followed by Platinum Sponsor Panel Built’s Lee Baenninger, who delivered a great presentation highlighting their products and ISDA Network Case Studies.
Bill Scata of Construct Connect was next, and he gave our attendees a practical, inside view of the platform and how we can use it to source leads and help our sales teams build pipelines!
Bill then co-led the Member Panel This year’s Member Panel with Jim D’Emidio, featuring Jeff Valentine of Pacific Business Systems, Jeff Loreaux of Donnegan Systems,Inc. and John Bilavsky of Premier Business Solutions, inc.. They discussed how their businesses have utilized Construct Connect Insight to generate leads and drive sales!
After lunch on our first full day Thursday, we we launched into a fast-paced and enlightening presentation from Kate Kingston, Kingston Training Group. Minds were blown.
Gold Sponsor SpaceGuard Products’ Ray Niemeyer followed, discussing what sets SpaceGuard apart and highlighting their brands. We finished the day’s meetings with the first round of speed networking – the perennial favorite of our annual event!
After long day of meetings, we had to let loose and have a beach-themed party on the event lawn overlooking the Gulf.
We started our last full day, Friday, strong with a prescient and fascinating presentation from WSI-Summit’s Gunnar Hood. Don’t forget about his $1,000 AI scholarship for ISDA Members!
Gold sponsor PEAC Solutions’ Corinne Beyer then took the floor and delineated how to leverage financing and leasing to drive sales.
We were then treated to another Gold Sponsor, John Hook of SupplyPoint’s, presentation which was very interesting for us as their parent company TouchPoint just acquired our other Business Partner, Newcastle Systems! After that, we launched into speed networking round two.
After a lovely lunch, Jim Kahrs of Prosperity Plus Management Consulting helped attendees understand what drives value in each of their businesses. Then Gold Sponsor and Potential Business Partner Pentagon Security Shutters’ Neil Oosterveen & Charles Fitt introduced us to the company and their product lines! Before we knew it, it was time for third and final round of speed networking.

WAY TO GO, 2025 WINNERS!
We concluded our 2025 Annual ISDA Meeting with a half day on Saturday for Member owners. Bob Goldberg, ISDA Legal Counsel, opened for us. He detailed many important points business owners need to take into consideration to avoid legal issues and best protect their companies.
ActiveData Digital Marketing’s Michelle Hudson then took the helm and delivered a wonderful presentation covering a variety of digital marketing strategies that we should be using to grow our businesses. It tied in well with content from the other speakers, especially in relation to AI, so make sure to (re)view it via the link in the follow up email from Jessica!
Jeff Valentine then took to the floor and started the annual shareholder meeting which he and Jim D’Emidio ended just before noon. The group then played golf in the afternoon. What an amazing time we had in Clearwater Beach, FL!
We would like to thank the Opal Sands Resort, especially Lynne Grant and her team – you and Kim are rockstars! We have never felt so secure and special during an event. You guys truly drove the event’s success on home for us.
